Easel Does It is a San Diego–based mobile guided paint class business bringing creative, paint and sip–style experiences directly to your home. We provide all supplies and lead relaxed, beginner-friendly paint classes designed for private group gatherings, celebrations, and special moments. Our goal is to make hosting a paint party simple, enjoyable, and accessible with no prior painting experience required.

  • We offer mobile guided paint classes that bring a relaxed, paint and sip–style experience directly to your home or chosen space. Our services focus on private group events such as birthdays, celebrations, and gatherings, with all painting supplies and step-by-step instruction provided. Each experience is designed to be welcoming, beginner-friendly, and easy to enjoy for guests of all ages and skill levels.

  • Getting started is simple. Click the Get Started button at the top of the page to submit an event request. We recommend sharing your preferred dates and times, estimated guest count, event location, and a few basic details about your event. From there, we will follow up to confirm availability, pricing, and next steps. There’s no obligation to book when you submit a request.

  • Booking is not instant. Each event request is personally reviewed to confirm availability and event details. When submitting your request, we recommend to provide 2–3 preferred dates in case your first choice is unavailable. Once availability is confirmed and the required deposit is received, your event will be officially secured.

  • We recommend submitting your request at least 1–2 weeks in advance to allow for the best availability. Booking earlier is always encouraged, especially for weekends, as availability can vary from month to month.

  • Each paint class includes all necessary painting supplies, canvases, brushes, aprons, and guided step-by-step instruction. We also take care of setup and cleanup, allowing hosts and guests to relax and fully enjoy the creative experience.

  • Not at all! Our paint classes are designed for all skill levels and guided in a relaxed, beginner-friendly format.

  • Adult group paint classes typically last 2–3 hours, while kids’ group classes usually run 1–2 hours, depending on age and group size. To ensure a smooth experience, the instructor will arrive 45–60 minutes before the scheduled start time for setup.

  • Hosts are asked to provide tables and chairs for their group, along with table coverings to protect surfaces. For outdoor events, shade or coverage such as tents or canopies is recommended. Food and beverages are welcome but not provided.

    We’ll help to confirm layout needs and set-up during booking.

  • While our painting gallery is currently in development, we work collaboratively with the host to choose a painting concept for the event. Reference images and ideas are welcome, though designs may be adjusted to ensure the painting is beginner-friendly and can be completed within two hours. Guests are always encouraged to add their own creative touches during the class.

  • Pricing is set at $20.00 /person for both children and adults. Each class includes a minimum of four guests, which is covered by the booking fee, and can accommodate up to 15 guests. A full quote is shared after your event request is reviewed.

  • Yes. A deposit of $80.00 is required to secure your event date and time. This fee includes the first 4 seats of your paint class. The remaining balance for additional participants is due 72 hours prior to the event.

  • Our cancellation and rescheduling policies are outlined in the client agreement provided during booking.

  • Yes. A single link will be sent to the host and they will be asked to share this with their guests. All participants must complete the liability waiver prior to the event. For minors, a parent or legal guardian must complete the waiver.

  • We’re a mobile service based in San Diego and currently serve many central and coastal neighborhoods. If you’re unsure whether your location falls within our service area, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to confirm availability.

  • While our primary focus is private group paint classes, we’re happy to consider corporate or team-building events! If you’re interested, please include details in your inquiry so we can explore availability and fit.
